During the workshop on building an online community, the participants had a chance to learn about what the media and social networks are, and how to use them to actively participate in the community.

Throughout the two-day meetings with the trainer Bojana Šekeljić from the foundation DOKUKINO, the future Youth Leaders were introduced to the traditional and the social media, their origin, development and influence on all aspects of our lives. This whole concept revolved around the development of communication strategies for the purpose of launching local civic initiatives.

Administering facebook pages and developing digital stories were the topics presented during the second workshop day. Upon promoting their initiatives through photo stories, the training participants learned how to present their own activities.

The Seventh Training Module The media and social networks took place from 23 until 24 February 2013 at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA.
